Safeguarding & Professional Practice
The safety and wellbeing of children is at the heart of my work.
I am fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child I work with. My practice is trauma‑informed, child‑centred, and grounded in creating a safe, respectful space where children feel heard and supported.
Professional Standards
Enhanced DBS check (in place and up to date, accessible through update service)
Current safeguarding training (BCSSP Advanced Child Protection Training)
GDPR and data protection compliant and training up to date.
Maintains procedures in lone working, personal safety and risk assessment.
Fully insured for independent practice.
Clinically supervised by TLSWi affiliated practitioner.

Safeguarding Practice
I work in line with current safeguarding guidance and local authority procedures. I maintain clear communication with social workers, carers, and relevant professionals to ensure that children are consistently and appropriately supported.
Any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing are taken seriously and responded to in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
Confidentiality
Children are supported within a safe and respectful space where their thoughts and feelings are valued. However, where there are concerns about safety or wellbeing, information will be shared appropriately with relevant professionals in order to protect the child.
